1. HelpMenuCheck
Check for Update from TrackNPrint Help Menu > Click on Check for Update
2. Download the file
Codafile Software website opens with information about update availability
Click on 'Download Patch File'
Please Note"
Depends on the company's firewall / proxy server settings, the automatic software update checking could be disabled/ blocked
3. Save the update
Select "Save" option
4. Download the file
The downloaded file will be saved in the download folder or where ever selected
5. Open the download folder
Once the zip file has been downloaded, a message appears "Open" "Open folder" "View downloads"
Either select
Open - the zip file to start the installation
Open folder - to open the directory where the zip file was saved or view downloaded files
Before start the update, please ensure the TrackNPrint database has been backed up (contact codafile support team - support@codafile.com.au)
6. TNP update file unzipped
Run the update.exe application to update TrackNPrint
7. Windows server warning
If you see above warning from Windows, choose Run
to continue
8. Update step1
Click <Next> to procced
9. Update step2
Choose "I accept the agreement"
Click <Next> to continue
10. Update step3
Click <Next> to continue
11. Sql update msg1
After the update,
Run the TrackNPrint application
You will see few SQL messages and accept <OK> to proceed
12. Sql update msg2
this messages may vary depends on your current version of TrackNPrint
accept <OK> to proceed
trackNPrint log on window will appear and the upgrade is now completed.
